Vinnies CEO Sleepout Thursday June 23 - Gold Coast

 

Southport Chamber of Commerce is  proud to support Vinnies CEO Sleepout and Vice President - Membership Lorraine Lovatt who will be sleeping out at her 7th Sleepout this year.

 

Only just over 2 weeks to go until this year’s CEO Sleepout on Thursday 23 June when I will again be sleeping on the concrete on a piece of cardboard at CBUS Super Stadium as part of the Vinnies CEO Sleepout® 2022. I know one night isn't a lot, but it can make a whole lot of difference with your help.

 

I ask for your help in raising the much needed funds to help those experiencing homelessness on the Gold Coast, especially the hidden homeless, families, men and women, some sleeping in cars, couch surfing or staying in tents.

• $55 can feed a family for a day

• $120 can help a family keep the power on

• $300 can help relocate a person sleeping rough to accommodation services, or

• $505 can help provide emergency accommodation for a family in crisis

 

Over the past six years we’ve raised more than $2million on the Gold Coast and I can assure you every dollar has been invested right here on the Gold Coast, supporting real bricks and mortar projects for the Gold Coast, it’s our community.
