The Institute for Glycomics will throw open its doors to Southport Chamber of Commerce for a unique ‘behind the scenes’ tour of their laboratories and facilities 

Griffith University’s Institute for Glycomics is a flagship biomedical research institute based right here on the Gold Coast, with a unique approach to the discovery and development of diagnostics, vaccines and treatments for some of the world’s most devastating cancers and infectious diseases.

Located in the heart of the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct in Southport, the Institute for Glycomics will throw open its doors to Southport Chamber of Commerce for a unique ‘behind the scenes’ tour of their laboratories and facilities, including the Australian Centre for Cancer Glycomics, an exciting hub of truly revolutionary cancer research.

Don’t miss the opportunity to hear from the Institute’s Founding Director, Professor Mark von Itzstein AO over a glass of beer/wine/sparkling/soft drink, and light canapés.

Time: 4:30pm - 6:30pm. Arrival from 4:30 pm for registration ready for 4:45pm start

Venue: Griffith University’s Institute for Glycomics

‘Limited car parking is available on site. We recommend attendees park and ride using the G:Link Tram, and getting off at either the Griffith University Station or Gold Coast University Hospital Station. If parking is required for those with mobility issues, please email scoc@info and we will coordinate.’
