Southport Chamber Breakfast

The Southport Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us at our upcoming business breakfast event.

This event is hosted in partnership with the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training as part of Queensland Small Business Month.

VENUE: Southport Golf Club, Slatyer Ave, Southport
TICKETS: $35 members, $40 non-members. Includes seated breakfast, guest speaker and business networking


Our guest speaker for the morning is Estella Rodighiero, the Director of Regional Development at RDA Gold Coast. Estella brings more than 20 years’ experience as an economic development facilitator and business professional to her role and has designed, implemented, and achieved multi-million-dollar project and growth outcomes for the South East Queensland region. As Director of Regional Development Australia Gold Coast, Estella is supporting transformative initiatives such as: Additive Manufacturing and Industry 4.0, the Gold Coast’s Health and Knowledge Precinct, the Biomedical Supply Chain, the study of the Gold Coast’s emerging knowledge-based workforce, and the Regional Jobs Committee.

 

Estella is well placed to provide an update on the Gold Coast's small business sector and economic impact, technology trends affecting small business, emerging industries and how the Gold Coast is best placed to capitalise on these, and a general update on what small businesses can do to use these technology and emerging trends to their advantage.


Guests are welcome to arrive from 6:30am, with the President’s welcome and served breakfast will be from 7:00am. Our event partners, the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training will provide a update, followed by our Guest Speaker spot between 7:45am - 8:20am. The event will end by 8:45am.

 

We're excited to welcome the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training Director General, Warwick Agnew, and Regional Director, Brett Haagsma to our Southport Chamber of Commerce Business Breakfast this Friday as part of Queensland Small Business Month.

Brett will provide an update on the Department's initiatives that support Gold Coast employers and small businesses.

We look forward to seeing you there for what is set to be a fantastic morning celebrating business on the Gold Coast.
